Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of our facilities. This dynamic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems to create a safe and efficient environment for all staff and visitors. Responsibilities

  • Performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and other building systems.
  • The role may also involve landscaping, safety compliance, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maintain optimal facility performance.
  • Equipment Maintenance – Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery and systems. Inspect mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in equipment and facilities.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, including faulty wiring, motors, or control systems.
  • Replace worn or defective parts such as bearings, filters, belts, or sensors.
  • Repair HVAC, plumbing, or structural elements as needed.
  • Safety Compliance – Follow and enforce all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain safety equipment and ensure emergency systems (fire extinguishers, alarms) are functional.
  • Report hazardous conditions or equipment issues to supervisors.

Job Requirements:
  • Work a schedule of five full 8-hour workdays per week.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in general maintenance or specific trades (HVAC, electrical, or plumbing).
  • Perform all tasks safely and according to established procedures.
  • Lift and carry 50 lbs. or more as needed.
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
  • Use tools and perform tasks in awkward positions as required.
