Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient distribution and inventory control. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a solid understanding of logistics and warehouse management systems. This role is vital in maintaining safety standards, optimizing processes, and supporting the company’s activities.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.
  • Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and proper stock levels using warehouse management system.
  • Manage warehouse distribution operations with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge for materials handling, and equipment maintenance.
  • Implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Coordinate logistics for orders and shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor shipping & receiving activities to optimize workflow and reduce errors.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity through process optimization.

Job Requirements:
  • Previous and proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role.
  • Extensive knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, logistics, and materials handling.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and related software.
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment safely.
  • Strong understanding of heavy lifting procedures, shipping & receiving processes, and logistics.
  • Mechanical knowledge beneficial for equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and process improvement initiatives.
