Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive the financial strategy of our organization. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the future of our company by overseeing all financial aspects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making. This position requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in financial management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Manage revenue cycle operations to optimize cash flow and enhance profitability.
  • Lead the preparation of regulatory reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Implement effective expense management practices to control costs and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the Finance staff, operational accounting functions, including payroll, and setting performance measures and priorities for the staff.
  • Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage the information technology and maintenance department. Seek continual enhancements to cybersecurity and opportunities to utilize technology.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning initiatives across the organization.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required; MS degree preferred/CPA preferred.
  • 5-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience required.
  • Strong expertise in expense management and cost control methodologies.
  • Proficient in financial forecasting techniques and revenue cycle management principles.
  • Solid background in financial accounting practices and principles.
  • Exceptional risk management skills with the ability to identify and address potential issues proactively.
  • Experience in payroll management systems and processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on financial planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Work history to include working with consultative bodies, investing, financial reporting, insurance, and property management. Requires ability to manage through several high priorities at one time. This is generally a 50 hour a week role, especially the first year.
  • Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
