Education Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
San Francisco office of international law firm seeks Legal Documents Specialist with at least 1-2 years experience. Prefer candidates with a bachelors degree, file clerk experience at a law firm and background managing physical and electronic files, case room management, records retention and implementing best practices, policies and procedures.
1 - 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Legal records background ideal.) Ability to type 35 WPM. Aptitude for numeric and alpha filing. Familiarity with legal terminology is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with legal software such as iManage and LegalKey ideal. Demonstrates an intermediate understanding of the functionality of various databases and/or document management system(s) used to perform daily tasks. Must be able to perform basic searching in databases relied upon by the division/section and/or department.
